Having a hard time with my energy/stamina after 3-4pm

Kimberly,

Considering I went back to work half-days two weeks after surgery and was working full time four weeks after surgery at my desk job, I think I am doing pretty well and have been fortunate to have a good recovery. Hope you continue to feel better and take good care of yourself.

I'm a little apprehensive about returning to work because I work at a maximum security prison for men. Even though I'm secretary for two housing units, I have to be on my toes at all times. So hopefully I will be feeling a lot better by the time I go back (a little over a week). I plan to discuss this with my dr and work has already given me the documents for my dr to review to determine if/when I can return to work and what I can/cannot do.

Kimberly,

I would say to take it easy because it certainly sounds as if your job is more physically demanding than mine. No one does my job while I am off (I manage the office) and although I had started to get things in order for my leave, in the end I had only three days to get things ready at work because I took advantage of a cancellation to move up my surgery. So I returned to work earlier than I would have otherwise.
