Really scared now

Hello everyone.

My grandparents arrived from NY yesterday I live inPA, they will be staying 3 weeks to take care of me. I however am now panicking.I am crying left and right. The doctor assres me I will be fine,that abdominal RI was clear and Pelvic MRI showed a 8cm cyst on right ovary. My surgery in on Thursday and I am so scared.

Well, that's normal

I know it's scary. And I bet anything you WILL be fine. If you can relax just a bit you will thank yourself so much later on. Honest.

Chrissy,

It is perfectly normal to be feeling so nervous. This is major surgery. It is not something to be taken lightly.

Having said that, I had a 10cm cyst on my left ovary, with indications of borderline cancer, and it was all fine.

Just keep reading and posting. You will find a lot of good information here; as well as ladies kind enough to share their personal experiences.

It's wonderful you will have your grandparents to help you for 3 weeks. You are very lucky!

Hi Chrissy,

I'm also a 1/16 date, and in PA (Pottstown). I'm getting nervous too, but we'll get through it together! Take care, I'll be thinking of you.
