Will I be the 1% that has a period

His my delema. I am 5 weeks post op on Monday. I have been doing the regular stuff, house work, work, carrying some stuff, you know everything that women do without thinking (by the way my husband and I needed to know if things still worked so we had sex a just about 3 weeks). On Wednesday my breast began hurting as though I was going to have my period. By Friday I was spoting a pink discharge (I hate that word). Saturday the discharge turned red (new blood)complete with clotting. Today I am having horible cramping, pulling in the ovarian region accompanied by shooting pains. It makes me sick to my stomach. I do have a high tollerance to pain, which causes me concern because this is really knocking me out. I am in the home stretch of finishing my Master's degree in Criminal Justice in just 4 short weeks and I have a job interview tomorrow, my first job OUTSIDE the home in nearing 15 years. I need some suggestion on how to overcome these feelings so that I can knock THEM out tomorrow at the interview

You really sound like you are accomplishing alot and should be so proud of yourself. I know how hard it is with the whole job expectation. I too have a high pain tolerance (which is why I let those three grapefruit fibroids go for so long - until I actually felt like I had a flower pot in my abdomin). - But call the doctor on call and check out that bleeding before you venture out tomorrow.... It sounds like too much.

Thanks but your advice is priceless

Ladies I really appreciate your time and concern. Yes I agree that 3 weeks may have been pushing it a bit, but after 18 years of marriage, he's still GOT IT. I do have my cervix and ovaries and I thougth your experiences would be helpful. I will call the doctor in the morning, BEFORE my interview, maybe the reassurance they can give me will help me focus on the task at hand. At any rate, I don't have time for this, as I am certain all of you can relate too.
