Plastic string protruding from incision

I am so glad i found these threads,i started freaking out because one day i was looking at my incision.For the most part it looks great except on the corner of my incision,i could see a stitch.I freaked out and called my doc.said it was normal that the stitch will either dissolve or work its way out.im glad im not the only one that this has happened too..i feel much better and not so scared.thought maybe i was doing to much.well jan 9th will be 6weeks post-op.im ready to go back to the gym,but have to wait for the green light.

I had one from the left side inicion and one from one end of my navel incision. My dr pulled mine out on my post-op visit on 1-4-05, had it was painless.
