Almost 3 months..How are the November Sisters?

I am doing great other than some vaginal issues. Abdominally I feel fine, and if it wasn't for the vaginal discomfort I would probably at times forget I had it done! I get a little swelly by the end of the day, and feel as though I've put on a few pounds, but have not been exercising.

Almost 3 months..How are the November Sisters?

Hi, I had an abdominal Nov 10th and I am wondering if anyone else is having pains? I was experiencing pains in a v so to speak before which appear to have been coming from a large fibroid but now in the past 2 weeks have been feeling them again. Are these normal post op pains?

Almost 3 months..How are the November Sisters?

Hi Ladies, I still get abdominal niggles from time to time but generally am doing very well. I am walking, tramping, golfing and most other activities as before. Sex still stings a bit inside, not sure why.
If I get over-tired I pay for it and swelly belly kicks in by afternoon, but not nearly as often as before. Plus I've managed to keep off the 5kg I lost prior to surgery, so I'm pleased about that.
I hope you all keep on keeping well!

Almost 3 months..How are the November Sisters?

I had SAH BSO on November 29th. I had endo and endo cysts on my ovaries, which was painful, so I am definetly feeling better now. I do have pain, however. I had a bladder sling done with the hysterectomy. I was put in the lithotomy position (legs up in the air) and suffered a compressed nerve in my leg. It was the lateral femeral cutaneous nerve (sensory only) and I have some pain from that, but it is getting better. I also have a dull ache in my lower right abdomen. It doesn't really hurt, but I can feel it. It has gotten worse since I started back to exercising (walking and ellitical)so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I think this may be another nerve issue, but I am concerned that it may be an adhesion.

Then again, I think that I am only 3 months out and that a few aches and pains may be somewhat normal. I dunno....what is normal?
