We are here for our children, our husbands, and everyone else.

Why is it that we are here for our children, our husbands, and everyone else; and when we need them, it is hard for them to deal with? Since my surgery a week ago, our basement flooded, my daughter has gone through major drama, and when I need help, it is too much for my husband. Don't get me wrong, he has been there in the ways he should. But, I can't talk to him about my emotions about everything. Women are expected to pull through. We are so freaking strong. Sometimes we need to lean on someone else. Are any of you facing this?

hey I understand completely what your going thru. My husband is there for me like he should be but in many ways not. I try to talk to him but he just don't understand. Then yes he cleans house and stuff but at the same time he lets it pile up and says "he will house work when HE is ready". Plus since my surgery two weeks ago he acts like he is afraid to touch me, no kiss, no hugs, no nothing.
