some bleeding around staple in incision

im a week post op. im doing alright . i have been showering and today i noticed blood from staple sight. should i be worried? i have staples removed in two days from today. there is no smell,discoloring,or oozing.

Wounds can ooze at times, but it can also mean it is not healing as well as it should. Are you doing too much? That could cause some pulling on your incision which could lead to bleeding.

You may want to give your doctor a call to be sure all is well.
