Headaches

Have severe headaches with my periods now - which is all the time! Just wondering - having my surg. on Nov. 10 and wondering if my headaches (migraines) will go away when they take my stuff out. Know its hormone related but between the heavy bleeding all the time, and the constant migraines, which my dr. says is related, it gets old and I feel useless. Excited about my surg. but want to see if the headaches will go away. Know the bleeding will!

Headaches

I am 4 weeks out and have had some migraines, mostly as my hormones get settled and I am adjusting my HRT. I was having 2 or more a week prior to surgery, and maybe 3 in the last 4 weeks. One of which I know was causedby MSG and not watching my diet.

I know some people have had great success with headaches ending, but my mom had a TAH in 1992 and still has migraines, not as often, but they still do happen.

Mine are gone!

Well just to let you know I was in the same boat as you with constant headaches and migranes. It's awful and I'm sorry you have had them!! Since my surgery on September 20th and have yet to have a migrane or severe headache. I had a little bit of a headache after surgery, but I think it was from all the anesthesia and meds, it wasnt near what I was used to anyway! This is the first time in YEARS that I'ved not had migranes!! My ovaries were left in and I was afraid I'd still get them, but not yet! I wish you the best!!
