Pre Op this morning

Have my pre op with the doctor in 2 1/2 hours, followed by the hospital pre op....

Found out Nov 19th,I was having a TAH....(had a D and C in Sept, but that didnt help (darn it).....

I have been reading these boards and gathering what info i can....even printed out the list of questions for the doctor today...

Hear from anyone that has had one that "Im gonna LOVE IT!!"

So all in all,I have been ok with it..................so why today do I wake up with knots in my stomach for the very first time??

Maybe cuz it's all so real now???

Pre Op this morning

It's normal to have presurgerical jitters. We've all experienced that. As for feeling better, I'm almost 3 years out from mine and it only gets better. I felt so crappy before my surgery that I felt life was no longer worth living. That changed afterward.

Good Luck!

Pre Op this morning

Good Luck Sweetie!! Mine is tomorrow and I am so nervous as well. I wake up every mourning now at 4am cannot sleep. It is crazy. I had a lap in Oct. to remove endo but she couldn't get it all out and also found a mass on uterus.
so, here I am. Everyone has been telling me that too about feeling so good after surgery. I can not wait to feel good. I have been in pain for so long. I am sure your pre-op is going to go great.

Pre Op this morning

Things from here on out will roll so quickly. I think outta sight and outta mind is the case with me. it wans't until I had my preop that I realized OHMYGAWD this is REAL and happening! Wondering if I should have tried other avenues etc.

I'm 6 weeks post op this week and today my Dr told me my pathology reports showed a worsening of my condition.. So it was a good thing we did it!

big hugs to you-- make sure you take one day for yourself. Get a pedicure, manicure etc whatever you need to feel good
