Postop hysterectomy pain into groin on Right side

I'm five weeks postop. But since surgery I've had more swelling on my right side above my incision and down into my right groin. My incision comes almost over into my groin on that side, compared to the other side. I have/had NO redness or any symptoms of infection.

Saw MD at weeks 1 and 2 post op because I was concerned. He said to wait it out till 6 wk check. I still have pain only on that side and into my groin when I move, when I walk, and certainly cannot run. Painful with BM, sneezing, coughing on that side as well. He doesn't seem to think it's herniated, because he doesn't see a clear bulge. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone else have thoughts about what I should do next?

I'm seriously concerned about the burning into my groin on the right side... would make running (in the future) very uncomfortable, and I'm worried I've a damaged nerve. Thoughts? Help? Don't know what to do next.

Postop hysterectomy pain into groin on Right side

I will be 4 wks. Post op on the 25th of march. I am having the same issue. After surgery felt like I was doing well. Then 2 days ago this burning started exactly like you are describing. I have been hesitant to call the Dr. Because I have no other symptoms. I will call tom. If no change.

Re: Postop pain into groin on Right side

I will be 4 weeks tomorrow & I'm having the same exact problem. My incision also looks really good. When I sit down, I also feel like something is sitting on my groin on my right side not my left. I don't see my Doc again until 4/1.
