2 week check up today

I went in today for my two week check up and it went very good. The dr said everything seemed to be healing right on track. The pathology report showed that I did have Adenomyosis. But hopefully he got all of it. I get the full pelvic exam at the next check up in 4 weeks. I do get to resume driving now. He said to just listen to my body about increasing walking and stuff. No sex of course for a few more weeks.

I'm just glad that everything is going good and that the appt is over. WOO HOO!

He did ask if I had any regrets about having the hyst done. I, very happily, told him nope! I feel better than I have in a long time aside from the healing stuff.

It sounds like you had a very good checkup. Your dr sounds like he has been reading on HS. I was especially impressed that he thought to ask you if you had any regrets. I think that is a very nice(and brave) thing for a dr to do. It shows concern I guess.

To you and your 2 wk. post op! Mine isn't until the 25th, got changed from the 21st. yuck! I'm so glad that you are doing good post op. I had my surgery on 2/7/05 lavh. I too feel great! To good in fact. My dh has to remind me that it's only been 8 days, and it's so hard to stay put when you feel so great! I did over do it yesterday and today my body is telling me so. Anyway, congrats on your good dr appt!
We'll all be better before too long!
