Re: One year post op problem

Have you made an appointment with your doctor about this pain? You could have a kidney stone. Are you having any other symptoms?

If you kept your ovaries, the problem could be a cyst.

Keep a journal of all of your symptoms and then sit down and talk to your doctor about what is going on. If the problem is a kidney stone, you want to get in right away as the pain can suddenly increase and land you in ER--been there, done that! If the problem is a cyst and it bursts, you could also end up in ER.

Re: One year post op problem

Everything was fine until I did some heavy lifting at work (25 boxes onto a palet outside)!
Now I have had continious right sided pain for 7 weeks, thought to start with I just pulled some muscles, but still 7 weeks later in pain..
Its around my kidney area and back, but I've had an ultrasound on kidney and it is fine..
I have also got pain under right rib.. and occasionally into right groin and sciatic pain..
I'm not sure if anything to do with hysterectomy but very worried as this pain is not going away.
I am having a MRI on spine to see if spinal problem giving referred pain to right side..but starting to worry I have done some damage inside after hysterectomy

Re: One year post op problem

Any chance you have a hernia from the lifting?

Have you tried physical therapy, a chiropractor, or massage therapy?

in there! s
