Ahhhh! I'm so frustrated!

I can't believe this! I just went to my doctors office to pay for my surgery, which is tomorrow (ins. denied, so paying out of pocket) and found out that the hospital is "overbooked" and have no beds! I've had this surgery (TAH) scheduled for over 3 months! I can't wait any longer. He is trying to work it out though, bless his heart. See, I was supposed to arrive at 7 am, but he had 5 cases, including me, tomorrow and 2 of the 5 are outpatient. So, he had to move them up. So he said he'd call me tomorrow morning and let me know and if I didn't hear from him by 9:30, to come anyway and then we'll see. I'm hoping and praying tonight that it works out. I just can't see how this happened if I've been scheduled forever! This hospital is just....let's just say I live in a small town, and things don't run quite as smooth here as they do in the big hospitals (I know this because I've had surgery at Mayo Clinic and EmoryUniversity Hospital). The good thing (I guess) is that if I have to reschedule, it will be for this coming up Tuesday. So that's not too bad of a wait. But I hope it comes tomorrow! Pray for me, sisters!

Ahhhh! I'm so frustrated!

I forgot to add the good news in my post....i qualified for 100% financial assistance at the hospital!!! Since my ins denied, it would have been at least $10,000! I'm not married and don't live with my parents, so I support myself. So, just thought I'd add the good news to my bad news post!

Oh, man. I know that has to be frustrating. At least you live in a pretty town, even if the hospital is not very good about scheduling!
