Rosacea - post op changes

I have Rosacea and use Rosulla, Metrogel and Differrin on my face daily. Since surgery I am experiencing a slight burning after washing my facing and applying creams.

Did anyone experience problems with these types of medications post op? What was the outcome?

I know my body is just adjusting now, I was just curious if anyone had a similar experience.

Rosacea - post op changes

I have had Ocular Rosacea for years, but no visible Face Rosacea UNTIl I had the TAH/BSO. How I have Rosacea flareups on my face regularly and my chin and nose and cheeks are often red. So, I did notice an increase in my Rosacea, but am on no medication for it. How do you get diagnosed with face Rosacea and does insurance cover treatment?

Rosacea - post op changes

I'm five weeks post op tomorrow, and haven't noticed any change. I have Rosacea, and use Prascion cleanser and Metrogel daily. Since the surgery, I've not been as diligent about medicating as I should.

Hope everything gets regulated soon!

Rosacea - post op changes

I've never been able to use Metrogel, it is too irritating for my skin. You might want to hold off using these medications for a while and then try again and see if things have calmed down. My insurance has never covered treatment for rosacea, which really stinks! I hope you will find a treatment you can stick to. I didn't notice any difference particularly after my surgery, but mine rosacea just seems to flare sometimes for no reason that I can figure out. It is very frustrating!

Thank you for the feedback. My meds are covered by insurance but the dermatologist has to battle every time a new script is written to get it approved.

I am going to take a break from everything but the rosulla face wash for a few weeks and see what happens.

Thanks again.
