Got questions,need some answers

I found out Friday I have to have an IVP on Dec. 26 and they gave me a Fleet Prep Kit. Has anyone done one of these? What can I expect? From what I've read in the instructions I don't have to worry about over eating Christmas dinner. Also dh wants to know is there Mister Hyster site where husbands can post? I spend so much time here reading and learning, I think he's jealous.(lol) Any advice will be appreciated.

I had to have one for my surgery. I was my first time using one. It was not hard to do. Just follow the directions and stay close to the bathroom. No just kidding it works rather quickly and unlike having the runs it does not continue to work on you. One trip to the bathroom most likely will do it. It is nothing to be worried about. I would probably watch what you eat after 6pm. For example dont have another 7 course meal that late in the day. Because remember what has not fully digested and evacuated with the fleet will at some point want to come out and after a hyster bearing down the first three or four days can be rough.
