I really want a book

I keep trying to leave a message and strange things happen.

I've been searching and searching for a book. No luck. I even made a donation and no luck. :sad:

Is there anyone who has a book that could be mailed to me in Canada? As you may know, my surgery should be coming up quickly but I STILL DON'T HAVE A DATE.

I went into my local Barnes and noble this past Sunday and asked them to look up the book (Through the land of Hyster, the Hyster Sister's Book) at the information desk. The woman punched the title into her system and told me that they had copies in the warehouse. She ordered me a copy and said that it would probably be in mid week.

Have you tried checking at used book bookstores? I saw the book at Half Price Books here prior to my surgery (already had one). Since the shortage came up, I checked with them, but they no longer have it and I've passed mine on to another LIW -- sorry.

I just called Barnes and Noble - got worried that maybe everyone was right and that i could not get the book in time........ The guy that answered the phone checked my order and told me that it was unavailable???? When I told him that on Sunday their system said that they had several in the warehouse he didn't know what to do. Sorry for getting the hopes of all my sisters up in hopes that you'd be able to get a book What a bummer!

So sad. I don't think this book is available in Canada at all. Oh well. Still no date for my crowing, either. The doctors' secretaries are 'working on it' and will try to get something before May. !!!!!! Well I should hope to shout!
