EEEWWW There's a stitch sticking out of my belly button

I went for my 4 week post op last Wednesday and got a good clear of all restrictions except for sex (got to wait another month). All 4 incisions healed great, but inside my belly button there was still a lot of glue so my surgeon said to just use a loofah to get rid of it. Well go figure when I washed away all the glue there stands this purple little string just sticking out of the center of my belly button. I yanked it a little bit but it started to look as if it was going to bleed and it didn't feel too good either. So I call my doc and now I have to go back in tomorrow to have it removed. I HATE my belly button being touched...it makes me nauseous. Has this happened to anyone else? How did they have to remove it? UGGGHHH! Let's just say that my doc is not the most gentle creature when it comes to procedure.

He'll probably just snip the stitch and remove it with tweezers. I had to have that done with a couple of mine and it tickled more than anything.

I hate having my belly button touched too! I just waited until the stitches came out so no one would have to touch it. It wont hurt for it to be there.
