Hi,
My Dr. says my TAH BSO should take around 2 hrs. I'm also scheduled for the 23rd. I'll be praying for someone to be there for you and support you the way you need. I told my DH to go golfing because he would be stuck with me next week and he said he didn't feel he was being stuck. He wants to help me. I'm one of the lucky ones.

Im also scheduled for TAH BSO the 23rd. I asked my doc at my pre op physical how long it would take. He said 45 min. My girlfriend had the same surgery done a few months ago, same doc, same hospital, and she said hers took 1 hour 20 min. Guess it differs woman to woman, the type of procedure done, what they find when they get inside, ect.
I will have support of my DH and all of my family after surgery: except for my 22 year old son, who is in North Bagdad, Iraq, defending our country. I, also, am a very lucky one... Best of luck and prayers to all...God Bless

I'm scared to death but ready to have it done and over! Just hope my kids can handle mommy being out of service for a while.

HMMM...do I need to bring sanitary pads? I haven't used them since 2001.
I am not scared for I have had 2 c sections and numerous other surgeries.
I want this pain over with.

I have heard that we need to bring sanatary pads. I am planning to bring some. When I am done here I am heading upstairs to pack my bags. My surgery is scheduled for 9 AM tomorrow. I am very nervous. My hemaglobin is low (8.3) but I really, really hope I won't need any blood.
I have family members coming in to help. My parents are coming all the way from Europe. My mom will take care of the house and my dad can cook. I feel very fortunate. My husband will help too but we have our own business so he is quite busy. I knew we needed help so DH would not get too stressed. I have two kids (9 and 11)
