Question: I have my 1st appt with the oncologist on
9/12. What happens at this appt?

HeyPearl,
Your oncologist (is it a gyn/onc?) will go over any records that have been sent to him. The Dr. will order tests and procedures that he feels you would need.

I am sure you are coming up with lots of questions so write these down so you can ask him. Take someone with you also. It is always good to have someone with you to help you remember what is said or to help ask questions.

Looking back over your posts, I see you have endometrial cancer. Someone who has experienced this kind of cancer should be coming along to help you with those things specific to your kind of cancer.

Hi - Yes, I've been diagnosed with endometrial cancer
by my gyn & referred to a gyn/onc for treatment.
I'm wondering if there will be yet another exam or

HeyPearl, Have you checked out the Cancer Concerns board on here yet?? I bet there are alot of women who can help you out with your questions there. I hope everything turns out ok for you!!!
