Post hysterectomy and can't have a bm.

Metamucil is my best friend since the surgery. I usually take this about 3 days a week. It usually works pretty fast for me. Hope you find something to help you go.

Hello All,
Had my surgery on the 27th, and thanks to of all of the posts above, I know not to worry about the first bm. At my pre op appt, my doc suggested MiraLAX. I started it yesterday, so I hope it helps to keep things moving!
The gas pains I had yesterday and last night(24-30 hrs post op) were terrible. I am better today.
