severe pain urinary

I had a LAVH BS&O and vaginal sling done on the 23rd. I came home on Friday and Saturday my husband called the urologist for anibiotic. I have one more day of a 5 day supply and I'm getting no relief. It's a 7-9 pain scale on peeing side and constant contraction like pain throughout the whole vaginal area. Is this normal?? It hurts so bad that even the pain meds aren't working. I still have to have BM but 98% sure this has nothing to do with the pain. Just like a kidney stone bladder infection. Hope there is someone else out there with this to talk to .

Hey pmrdchf, Call your doc first thing tomorrow. I had a LSH on the 23rd and came home the next day. After I came home, I developed major pain during peeing too - like a knife put freshly into my gut. And I got an antibiotic and analgesthic (that makes your pee orange) started friday afternoon. The pain is better, and 1/2 of the pees are almost pain free, but I'm becoming convinced either I still have an infection from the catheter, or perhaps there was significant bladder bruising and my bladder tells me that every time I try to pee. I'm almost out of pills too. Hand in there.
