Post Hysterectomy. Should I worry about wound opening?

Following my op a week ago, one of my laporascopic cuts has started to 'open'. Should I contact the department's nurse? I did yesterday and she wasn't too concerned, telling me yo visit the practice nurse at my local doctors, which I find and they just stuck a plaster over it. The plaster has lost it's stick and the wound is slightly more open

Re: Post op. Should I worry about wound opening?

You might call and check, but I accidentally pulled the dermabond off one of my incisions early on and just put a little neosporin and a bandaid over it for a couple of weeks. You just don't want to risk infection, so if it's really open, let your doc or an advice nurse know.
