2 week post hysterectomy appointment went well!

I knew that I was feeling great, but it was nice to have the dr confirm that I am healing well. Still can't do heavy lifting, etc but as far as everything else, she said to just listen to my body and I will know when to stop and rest. She has cleared me to drive 2 hrs next week to visit my cousin at the lake. :-) Before the surgery, she told me that I should be able to go home the next day, would bounce back quickly and should be walking a mile within a week. She was right on all counts, I am wondering if maybe having her set these expectations in my mind helped me to have such an easy recovery.
