2 .5 weeks and now I am experiencing pain

All seemed to go well with the surgery, nut now just shy of 3 weeks I am having a lot of pain. My Dr. says everything is waking up and my ovaries have memory of the last thing that happened to them, thus I should feel pain.MY Dr. has been out right rude to prescribe me pain meds. I have a lot of tattoos and I feel hat he may think I am a junkie. I am at the top of my career and prefer to not be under any influence that could disrupt my job. but this has gotten worse every day, I had a check up two days ago and he said everything is fine. I am happy the everything is healing, but, I am in a considerable amount of pain and he refused to give me a script. Am I asking to much?

Absolutely not, and in the meantime I think the ladies have said they went from their pain meds to 600mg ibuprofen. See of that takes the edge off. I have several tattoos myself an would've flipped out if they used that as an excuse to treat me badly.
