UK princesses, as odd Q.

Hi all
I am having my surgery soon and would like to ask them if they would be able to remove a large mole I have on my neck while I am under as I have this irrational fear of them doing it when Im awake so I havent kept my appts for it! I know any US ladies will think of course they will but believe me the NHS is an odd comodity!! This is a large mole, wart like, but not cancerous.
Has anyone in the UK heard of them agreeing to do anything like this??
Many thanks
Alison

UK princesses, as odd Q.

Hi alilou,

I don't live in the UK, but I had a mole removed that was located close to my clitoris when I had my Novasure ablation in April of 2003. My family doctor recommended a gyno/surgeon since it was in such a sensitive area. I'm glad to say that it healed very well (although I now have a tuft of white hair where it used to be!) and I'm glad I was "out" while they did it.

I would definitely ask-all they can do is say No. And, if they say Yes, even better!

Good luck!

Since it is not near your "private" areas, I don't think your ob will do it. I think they will require a dermatologist. However, I agree, it doesn't hurt to ask.
