Painted toenails?

My hospital states no polish especially dark or with metallics in them. It actually states acrylics are okay. I know when I went in for my ablation I had my acrylics - no polish - and they did have problems with the oxygen meter - the little clamp on your finger? and they taped it special sideways or something. Don't remember the specifics - just some trouble and a special tape job. They've done this all before. My hospital has it's own website-I'm willing to be most do-and you can probably see any restrictions they have there. Doesn't hurt to look. Whatever the Hospital and Doctors want, they can have. (My uterus too!)
