Bladder problems and vaginal irritation

I had my surgery on 8/27 exactly one week ago today. When I came home from the hospital I could not stop peeing! No exaggeration whatsoever I literally had to go about every 2 minutes. My boyfriend and I thought I was going so much from the fluid I was given. The frequent urination lasted well into Thursday of last week. I called my doctor and he said I was having bladder spasms. Now my vagina is so itchy and irritated like I have a yeast infection. I'm in pain from the surgery overall, itchy from my meds, and now my vag is itchy and raw. I've contacted my dr and have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning and I can't wait! Has anyone else experienced this?

I had very frequent urination and irritation as well. Mine was bladder spasms. Both the frequent urination and irritation lasted a few weeks for me. It is enough to drive you up the wall for sure! Hopefully you will get definitive answers tomorrow!

I had my surgery 8/28 and I hope you get some answers. I was peeing a lot too with some slight pain when I let my bladder get too full! Then noticed yesterday that I am leaking when I go from laying down to standing and sometimes walking to bathroom! I sure hope this heals itself during the recovery period!
