Back Pain

I started having back pain about 5 years ago, when my youngest was 6 month old (she was born by c-section). I had a MRI done, that showed disk problems and have gone through all the physical therapy and excersises to control it. I am wondering now if it might have something to do with the enlarged unterous and ovary. The reason I say this, is on Monday I had a back flare up, that coinsided with abdominal pain from the aden. Any ideas? I don't have my surgery date yet, but it would be wonderful if it took care of the back pain along with everything else. I would be a new woman!! Everyone take care!

Back Pain

Hi christina,

No one can say for sure, of course, but if your uterus is enlarged, it may be part or all of the cause of your back pain. In my case, my uterus, bladder and bowel were all prolapsed, and causing back pain that disappeared after I had my surgery.

I hope that you'll have similar relief from your back aches.

Back Pain

<< I am wondering now if it might have something to do with the enlarged unterous and ovary.>>

I had back pain for 3 years. I went through the CT scans, MRIs and X-rays. I too have a couple of minor problems with 2 discs. I went to physio therapy but it didn't help. In June, I started on Lupron Depot shots and my back pain was gone. I had my surgery on the 19th of October and so far no back pain. I plan on talking to my doctor about this. I think my pain was somehow caused by my fibroids / hormones. Good luck . . . I know how miserable back pain can be.
