best thing I brought to the Hospital

The night before I went in for my surgery(10/20) I bought a portable CD player with a remonte control at walmarts for $20. and I brought a few of my favorite tapes.

It was the best thing. I had a few compilations during and after surgery so by the time I went to my room I was weak. I had planned on watching TV, but found that it took to much engery to watch it.

So I played my music which was a great confort for me.

Something to think about bringing.

I agree with the music. Nothing like listening to your favorite music to help relax.

Hope your recovery goes well.

I agree - I brought my CD player and some relaxation CD's as well. It was great to just lay there and listen to the music and relax. Mine had a repeat button, so it played continuously until I shut it off. Watching TV was too much of an effort, besides, who can concentrate on TV while you are on drugs!

best thing I brought to the Hospital

Best thing I brought to the hospital -- my hubby. Without him, I'd probably still be waiting for the night nurse. LOL
