TLH 8 Weeks Yesterday!!

Well, I was 8 weeks out yesterday & on Sunday I celebrated my 38th Birthday! I am feeling fantastic! It was around 6 weeks post op I started feeling like I didn't even have surgery!! I was cleared for all activity at my 6 week appt. but hubby & I waited an extra couple of days. (Doc put silver nitrate on cuff) First time was fine, I was definitely nervous, second time even better! I am able to do all my housework now, vacuuming, mopping etc. without any pain. One thing I will say, I followed doctors orders to a tee!! (And everything I read on this site) I spent first few days in bed, NO housework, laundry, cooking or driving for the first two weeks! (Luckily I had a lot of support, & my boys are 13 & 17) I wanted to share my "progress" because I know a lot of pre op ladies read the post op boards. I do go back in February for one final "check". I am still trying to wrap my brain around no more periods!! Yay!!
