TAH Freaking out one week post hysterectomy.

So surgery on the 24th, been running a temp off and on, started antibiotics Monday for what we thought was a UTI. Today my temp spiked and my heart rate was 140 so off to the ER. Now after a cat scan I have abdominal abcesses all over the place, so I have to have surgery first thing in the morning to clean it all out and I'm on iv antibiotics. This is so not how I saw this surgery ending up, just freaking out

So sorry this happened. It is something none of us figure on happening. Prayers for wisdom for the doctor and prayers for a speedy recovery from both surgeries.

So sorry you are going through this. I can relate to having back to back issues. Wishing you well and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine how scary it is for you. Keep us updated when you feel like it.

How unfortunate..... it's difficult enough to deal with recovering from a hysterectomy. Wishing you all the very best!

So they put a drain in and have me on 3 different antibiotics. Things are better would rather be at home but at least I feel better than what I did 2 days ago

get better too, just take it easy and rest. Listen
to your body,that's what I'm doing. I've been going all day and I'm exhausted lol So it's nap time for me. Lol

So sorry this happened to you. Glad to hear It sounds like they have gotten on top of it now. Sending healing wishes your way.

Set backs suck. I know first hand.

But you are in good care and they are fixing the issue.
