I am home from the castle

I came home on April 7th. Soooooo glad to be home. My surgery went well. I had a TAH...uterus and cervix were removed. The gas pains suck big time...feels a bit like contractions. I am trying to walk a lot, and drink lots of water. Haven't had a BM yet. I am 4 days post-op. My hubby and 10 year old son have been awesome. I am trying to get a lot of rest and take it easy. I will be glad when I can walk straight up an down...I am hunched over a bit. I feel like a little old lady..lol. Anyways...best of luck to all you ladies in waiting. I'm thinking about you and wishing you all speedy recoveries. Take care

I am home from the castle

Welcome back PinkOne! I was released on the 7th also. Hubby knew when I had a successful BM. He heard me singing the Hallelujah chorus from the bathroom Now that the BMs have started, the gas pains aren't quite as bad. I'm still having issues with a few of my staples "weeping" a little, but I guess being 4 days post op, that should be expected. My doc said not to worry unless I was running a fever.

Take it easy and enjoy the pampering
