Weight Loss

Hi....I agree with the other ladies...just eat right and try to get so exercise and you will be fine. I had my hyster 2 weeks ago and I have lost 8 pounds in that 2 weeks This was one of the major worries I had (weigh gain) when I went into the whole surgery thing because I have been on a low carb diet since 1/19 and have lost 47 lbs. I need to lose 30 more to reach my goal and having a TAH/BSO and losing everything, cervix, ovaries..... and going on HRT I was worried I would gain it all back.......But no

I will start walking more now and Dr. says my weight will keep coming off......So don't worry to much....just eat well and leave the junk food alone and you'll make a great princess!

I never thought about all this stuff. I guess I will be lucky and maybe not have any change at all. I lost about 7 lbs. since my office visit when I got my surgery date. I was just trying to lose my winter blahs lbs. I don't really need to lose any more. but, don't want to gain any either. The good news is I am forced to make healthy decisions because I have intestinal issues and am on a high fiber diet. Lots of water and fiber! Needless to say, bean burritos on whole wheat tortillas are my best friend.
I kind of wondered what the weight of a uterus was. My fibroid was 4-6 cm in Feb when I had the D+C but, who knows what it will look like Tuesday!

I'll be glad to have that weight off my body!
Keeping my ovaries too.
