went to pre-op...feeling better

I just wanted to say that I am feeling much less stress since my pre-op appointment. Thank you for all your advice, this group has been so helpful!
At pre-op they answered all my questions and seemed really competent and professional. This always makes me feel like they know what they are doing.
My surgery time isn't until 3:30 p.m. PST
That means I have all morning Monday to not eat and find something to think about! They told me I could eat as long as it was 8 hrs before my arrival time of 2:00 P.M. so I get breakfast at about 4:00 A.M. My DH is taking me out to breakfast.
My pre-op amounted to
Blood draw
blood pressure
Oxygen saturation test
A detailed explanation of the whole course of events, like my pain pump for after and what meds they give routinely.
I asked many questions and they gave me good answers to all of them.
I am praying for all your surgeries especially the Monday the 14ths.
In Him,
Kathy
BTW where is the smilies legend on this site so I can make smilies?

((((((((Redeemedheart))))))))),

Look below the box where you type a reply and make sure disable smiles is *unchecked*.

Best wishes on your surgery hon.

Take care,
