small incision opened a little

I don't know what happened my incisions were healing fine, and I'm almost at my 3 week mark. I saw the doctor last week and all was well. Now the incision on my belly button decided to open a little and it feels irritated just slightly, but it's hard for me to tell because I never regained much feeling in my abdomen after two c-sections. It isn't red, doesn't have anything coming out of it, just feels slightly sore and opened up a tiny bit.

Also last week I was put on prednisone because I got stung by a scorpion, which made me have an allergic reaction and since I can't take benedryl they put me on that. After the scorpion sting I developed a horrible cough and fever. I've had fever for a week now. I've already called my surgeon and my PCP and neither seemed concerned.

To top it all off, I've developed a nagging pain in the upper portion of my abdomen. I really just want/need a break.

Re: small incision opened a little

Omgsh...a scorpion? That sounds horrible. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with that on top of your recovery.
If it were me i think i would push to be seen. You have enough going on that it is probably best to be sure the scorpion bite didn't throw things back just a bit.

I had mine on the 30th and in the evenings notice a little soreness in my upper abdomen but not even enough to classify as pain.

Take care and keep us posted!! (((hugs)))
