Is this normal

I'm going into my 3rd week post op and I feel like to stiches or pulling me. I can't stand up straight and shooting pains are going through me. I haven't taken any pain pill through this. Please some one tell me is this normal? Waited for the Dr. To call me back

Re: Is this normal

I felt like that too until last week. It was if I was being shot with electrical shocks. I still have a hard time standing up straight when I first stand up.
I hope your dr calls you back soon!

Re: Is this normal

I have to go to the Dr at 8 30 in morning and when I get back I will let you know how it went. I know everything is fine. This is all part of the healing prcocess. My emotions is all over the place today can't stop from crying.

Re: Is this normal

Hugs for you. I hope the dr will give you some answers. I too have been having a sharp stabbing pain all through my vagina and vaginal walls. I guess everything is still settling back into place.

Try to take it easy and remember what your body just went through.

Hugs.

Re: Is this normal

If you ever have a question regarding your health that is a concern to you it is always good to check with your dr. I think you maybe haveing stitches disolving it will all depend on whether they used stitches inside or just cautrizied - for me they did both, cautrized first then stitched it ...my dr told me that depending on the type of stitches used they will begin to dissolve at 7 days, 30 days, 90 days and 120 days...he said i would feel a sharp pain that would dissappear...the first time it happen it thought i had done something wrong the pain was instense and my pain pills were not working by morning it was gone no sign of pain at all...the second time it happened i got caught unaware took my breath away then within an hour was gone....

not saying that is what it is but it could be it

Re: Is this normal

but dont feel you made a big deal out of nothing, when it first happened to me i paniced and I already had that information from my doctor.....my dr always said if you are concerned by it you will not rest until you know for sure so no matter what if you are worrried and think you should talk to a dr then do so

I hear you on wanting to get your life back i am still working on the the emotional part but pretty much healed up still low energy at times and still feel pin pricks, someone on this site said at 4 weeks you are 40% healed, at 6 months 50% healed and at 1 year 100% healed....

We are all in this journey together
