2 months post hysterectomy: Sick but not sick

I am 2 months post op and not on any hormone therapy. I have days where I wake up and feel like crap. I am feverish and clammy without having a fever. My head hurts and I just feel sick. Is this normal?
I can be fine for days then just wake up and bam...but I'm not sick.

Re: Sick but not sick

It's too soon to know if what you have is the beginnings of surgical menopause (I don't see in your profile what you had done) of if you're either getting an infection, or just working through the withdrawal from meds, hormones, or just recuperating. I felt like that at times, but I was off painkillers in three days and just relied on acetaminophen for a few days. I had trouble sleeping after a few weeks, started with hot flashes and cold sweats, and smelled bad for months. But I can't say if any of this applies to you.
