Orgasms post-op

Warning--this may be TMI! I know that everyone is different, but I wanted to give pre-op women some hope regarding orgasms post-op. I have always had good orgasms--honestly, I figured they were as good as they could get. Well, I was wrong! I had my surgery 11/5, so it's only been a few weeks since we've started being intimate again. The orgasms are even stronger than they were before, and intercourse doesn't hurt at all. I'm SO relieved about all of this! I was really worried about how surgery may change our sex life. Now I know it changed it for the better!

I lost the battle of self control yesterday and had some "outer course". Don't know if it was against doctors advice or not- since I haven't seen the doctor post-op yet. Anyway the orgasms were great and no bleeding!!! Can't wait to see what happens when I get the all clear. I know for me this surgery was the best thing I ever did for myself!!! I already feel better then I did pre-op and I am not two weeks out yet

I called my mom on New Years to announce that I was no longer a virgin, she thought it was wonderful. I had a wonderful DH induced O on New Years Eve. We have been working toward this date, we had to work at stretching for depth in my case. It was one of the best New Years I ever remember.
My parents are still quite active in their 70's I don't plan on breaking with family tradition. Here's to OO's in 08. TAH/BSO

Kasey - Can you tell me about the depth thing? I am nervous about that. Was it hard to get the depth back? I am single currently so no hopes of trying the new stuff out yet. I had a TVH keeping ovaries.

I continue to have wonderful intimacy with my DH as well. Part of it for me is I no longer fear the pregnancy thing and I don't have the cycle to deal with. Can you spell F R E E D O M?? Plus, after waiting almost 8 weeks, we have a lot to catch up on. Enjoy!

Yes, would somebody explain the "depth" thing too? I am wondering... will our anatomy now be "deeper" or "shallower"? I would say deeper if the uterus/cervix is now out of the way, right? I never took anatomy class. Somebody please explain.

this is also another one of my questions, I actually almost called Dr today... He told me NO sex for 12 weeks. I had always heard the ole 6 week story, so much to my dismay...I'm in the hospital, surgery over and done with and he says 12 WEEKS!!! It had been about 6-8 weeks PRE-op! BUT 12 more WEEKS?!?!! By the way, I am adopted-Irish and my 12 weeks is 2 days after St Patty's day! May the luck O' the Irish be with me

anyhooo..the question. Is solo play/orgasm allowed?? I know the 12 week sex thing is mainly about penetration and risk of infection. But a self-induced orgasm can be pretty ...well..let's say I am a bit scared...not about the ability to have one but the actual orgasm causing pain.....??

The cuff from my understanding is where the cervix started, so it is shorter. The cuff will give and allow for more length. It just takes a little time. We started out with about halfway and each time went a little farther. I was quite worked up New Years Eve and had no trouble with full pentration. Also there was never any need for lube either. Everything worked just fine. I felt wonderful about sex and myself, I think I got the lift back in my step. If you know what I mean. Kinda like the Eric Clapton song "You look Wonderful Tonight". I feel just like that.
Just take your time call the shots and do what you want as you want, it will work out fine. This is 7 wks for me we started working on it at maybe 5 wks.
I have used several of the PC muscle toys to strength my response, it might be good for those of you that are single. Keep the thing in practice.

I had a wonderful O in my sleep in the first or second wk, full body, no hands. So I would say a easy by yourself would be alright. Because if it starts to hurt I imagine you would stop what you are doing.
