Tiny amount of pink discharge 5 weeks post op--related to BM?

Sorry if this is TMI. I've noticed over the past week that I sometimes have a little pink discharge when I have a BM. The discharge is only on the tp when I wipe--never enough to wear a pad or liner for. It goes away within a couple hours.

Can the discharge be related to having a BM? I'm not straining nor having a huge BM. I'm taking two stool softners at bedtime to "help things along".

Anybody else noticed this?

Perhaps your stitches are dissolving. As long as you are not having bright red blood, it is possible that this is the case.
