HAHAHAHA<eyeroll> Now Im sick w/ a headcold..

I have over a week before surgery and then THIS pops up. Im drinking E tea and sucking on throat drops. I know that this is stressed induced and a "gift" from a family member.(Who also has a head cold.)

I do not want to postpone the surgery but if Im still sick I must. Any advice on how to kick this out of my system ASAP.?

(HAHAHAHA I love this banana dude!)

Poor Bethany

I had a head cold last week so I understand how you feel. Not being able to breathe is never fun! Keep sucking on the throat drops, drink the tea, maybe isolate yourself and get plenty of to let the cold run it's course.

Hope you feel better very quickly. By the way, I love the banana dude too!

Hi Bethany, I would call your dr and tell him/her that you have a cold. I got one about a week before my hyst and my dr put me on antibiotics and it cleared right up. My surgery went on as scheduled and I had no major complications. Don't try to take anything without consulting your dr first, we never know what might interfere with surgical recovery. Take care and keep us posted.

Zinc Lozenges

Try Cold-Ez zinc lozenges (or whatever brand might be available.) They work wonders for stopping a cold in it's tracks, but only if used at the first sign of a symptom. (If the cold gets full blown, they do help shorten the duration.) You have to suck the lozenges, not chew them, for them to work properly.

Good luck, best wishes, and lots of s,

Lisa

Vitamin C, Vitamin C and Zinc lozengers. Multi-vitamins always help shield off colds. Thanks goodness you still have alittle time to handle this. Spray Lysole on around your home to kill jerms, especially on door knobs, telephone and in the bathroom.

Hope this helps
