Anyone had a laproscopy myomectomy?

Hi, I live in Los Angeles and recently almost 3 weeks ago had a laparoscopic myommectomy. I had a complication where my small intestine was burned but they fixed it at hospital. I went back to work 3 days ago and have been feeling do sick, weak, 99.6 temp, no energy, and takes all my energy from fainting. Today it got worse. I feel a little crampy, sick, weak, and even a little nauseous. This is much worse than last week when I Lau around the house. Has anyone experienced this or can give advice? I don't know if it's surgery related or if I'm anemic or caught a virus. I feel so sad and hopeless and wonder if I will always feel sickly as before surgery I was very active.

Re: Anyone had a laproscopy myomectomy?

I too had a laparoscopic myomectomy on July 10th so it's been about 7 weeks. I'm still recovering. I take it slow and if I do too much I get pains. I think 3 weeks back to work is way too soon. I'm surprised your doctor ok'd that! Even though you had it done laparoscopically it is still a major operation. You had a lot of work done inside and sounds like you had a complication with your small intestine. It's going to take time to heal .... Like 6 to 8 weeks. I was exhausted for the first 4 weeks I couldn't imagine working. Some women after this surgery don't feel 100% til about 3 months. I would stay home and take it easy or your going to land back in the hospital. My aunt had this done and her doctor wouldn't let her go back to work for 6 weeks. Get some rest girl!!!!
Good luck.
