Will my muscles return in time?

Has anyone experienced problems with the muscles that start and stop urine flow? I'm 4 1/2 weeks post op now and still I don't have any control during urination. I couldn't stop if I had to! My concern is when I go back to work, if I wait too long to go or laugh or something I'm afraid I'm going to be in a mess.

I don't know cinny - I don't have this problem. I was told to start doing kegel exercises straight away - they apparently help those muscles get stronger. Hope it gets better soon ...

I couldn't have stopped the flow at that point in my recovery either. Can't think at what point the control returned, but I'm good now.
