Home from the Castle!

Was admitted at 6:30 am Wed morning and scheduled for surgery at 8:30. At 9:00am they were still trying to put the IV in. By 2pm I was in my room (surporise I got a semi-private at no charge) I guess all the rooms were full at the castle. Howver, the phone line in the room was dead and I had not phone for 4 fdays - probably for the best anyways...jsut annoying.

Did not see the surgeon until Thursday night. This was a little unnerving not knowing if all had gone as planned.

Had clear fluids until Friday night, passed gas fine Friday afternoon. Short walks are no problem. Treating pain with Tylenol 3's about every 6-8 hours.

Was released from the hosptial today (Saturday) at noon.

Great to be home. DH and kids are super.

Wishing all other hystersisters speedy recoveries.
