TVH Overdo it? 7days post op vag discharge starts up again

I haven't done much. not much at all. Yesterday I had a Dr appt and sat in the car while mom ran in to get something from the grocery store. Then I was up and walking around, MANY trips to the bathroom

last night I started feeling nauseaous. Into the morning. I took meds and slept most of the day. My discharge has almost completely gone but now it's back. It's tinged with pink. No smell.

Did I overdo it or something? is this normal?

Ugh today just sucks rocks.

The discharge for me came and went at different times..it could have been more than your body wanted or just a thing. Any way the nausea
thing sounds odd. Since you said many trips to the bathroom..is there any peeing issue like a UTI? I guess just keep an eye on things and see if anything more develops...like a fever or pain.

chic-I had my cath removed yesterday and I think its just healing from having that blasted thing in my urethra irritating it. I have been on Antibiotic since surgery date for that very reason so I don't THINK it's UTI. I have no other symptoms. I just... have to go often

I do forget that our vagina has mucous glands. For ever I thought all discharge came from the cervix but that is not true. So it's odd to me that I would be having anything other than suture oozing. I have 3 incisions in my vagina and I am scared that pink means one of them is bleeding but its only tinged pink, it's not red.

Ill give it another day. I don't know which surgeon to call LOL

Sometimes when the Stiches dissolve on the vaginal cuff it causes icky smelly stuff discharge. But it usually happens three or four weeks into recovery. The Hystersisters booklet says if it continues for more than a couple of days or if you have a fever call your doctor. Feel Better !
