Re: pain in jeans

Get an elastic hair band, wrap it through the button hole and then fasten it to the button on the jeans. Your normal jeans will still fit you on the bum and thighs, you just need more room around the swelly belly - I wear mine this way and I'm comfortable in them. I could fasten them the usual way but I'd be in pain and that's just not worth it.

This works, and you can use different size bands as your tummy goes down.

I just wear a longer top with my jeans so it skims the tops of my thighs and no-one is any the wiser.

Good luck and hope it helps.

Re: pain in jeans

I am 10 weeks post lavh and still cannot handle pants that have a zip and button even the loose ones. Must take a long time for everything to heal properly inside and also get used not having a uterus in front of your intestines. Elasticated everything for me. So happy that leggings are still in and that its winter here so good time to wear them. I went away for easter and found sitting in the car for a couple of hours was very uncomfortable. One good thing though is that now my bladder has more space so we did not have to have a loo stop every five minutes and what a pleasure not having to pack some sanitary ware just in case.

Be patient ladies, we will get there in the end.

Re: pain in jeans

I am so glad that others are still struggling with clothes too. I went back to work today. My daughter looked at me and said you still can't wear real clothes. How are you going to dress for work?? I told her I will make these yoga pants work!

I am going to Walmart tonight and buy every type of legging they have. Great idea!!

I see a lot of dresses and leggings in my future!
