dVH/RALH 6 wk check up still have stiches inside, have questions

I went to my 6 week check up and everything is healing nicely! Woo hoo! The doc has cleared me for most activities, I still have some lifting restrictions due to a urtheral sling. I still have stitches in the vaginal cuff (cervix was removed) and the doc put in a estrogen tablet (not sure what that does) However I am cleared to have "relations" as long as we are careful. Though I'm ready for "relations", I am afraid because the stitches aren't completely gone and healed. Any advice?
I also forgot to ask about taking a bath, and vacuuming specifically. Since he cleared me for all the other stuff, does that mean its ok to vacuume and soak in a nice bubble bath too?
I'm worried cuz of the stitches.

I understand the worry you're feeling. My doctor released me to ease back into my normal routine at my 6 week post-op appointment and I did have a stitch or two left. Everything was fine for me. DH and I just took things slow and careful.

Your doctor may have put an estrogen tablet in to help with healing. I hope by now things are getting back to normal for you and going well! Let us know how you're doing, ok?
