I had my last lupron shot at the endo of January. I am still so hungry for all the wrong things. I have been going to LA Weight Loss and had lost 30 pounds, was starting to feel very good about myself, then the shots. I have gained 20 pounds back. Hate the way I look and feel. I know I need to get the weight off before my surgery but do you think I can control this, its like I am a raving maniac around food. I get myself ready for the day mentally and then I eat like its my last meal. Just feeling sorry for myself today. But if I keep on going it will be 40 pounds by 4/13, my trip to the castle.

Anybody feel like me???????? Cheryl

Oh my gosh! What a dork I am, is it the Lupron that is making me eat everything in site? Thanks for your question, it helped answer mine! I had my last shot 3/5/04 and REALLY wish the Girl Scout cookies would go away!
Good Luck,
Goldylox

Dear Goldylox

Reese Sticks will soon be at a premium here in Northern New York. I am obsessed and don't like myself for it. I seem so out of control. Hope this ends soon.

Cookie season will be over soon.

Good luck to you too.

When I first got the Lupron, I noticed I was eating a lot. I soon realized that I was nauseous, not hungry. I looked up a bunch of remedies for nausea on-line, but then I just started sucking on hard candies as long as I knew I wasn't hungry. I ended up losing about 5 pounds on the Lupron (although you cant tell because of swelly) simply because I got my life back when the bleeding finally stopped.
