Embarrassing question

I have had one well woman exam this year (not so well, see dx below) and two gyn consults thus far. None have tested me or been concerned about any vaginal infection or any sort, although I did have a urine test at one gyn's office.

My embarrassing situation that I've described to the doctors is a sense of not smelling "fresh" by the end of day. When I bathe or shower, I'm fine, but the odor starts building throughout the day. By the end of the day, I'm wondering if anyone sitting near me might be able to smell it, too.

The docs have checked me very thoroughly for incontinence and I don't have that in any way (I thought perhaps it was a urine smell). No one has said anything about infection and no one has commented on any odor, although I do bathe right before my appointments, of course *LOL*

Has anyone else had this? It's not a foul odor, but rather like I haven't washed in a couple days when I actually have!

Thanks for indulging me in this embarrassing question!

Embarrassing question

I had the same thing after my son was born. The dr. found no problem either but treated me for the symptoms I described. The medication worked, and it was for a bacterial infection. One lady posted here a few weeks earlier and said it was really an overgrowth of your natural bacteria and it would right itself. However, I could smell myself and even my hubby commented on it. I was glad to have the med.
You can call your dr. and describe your symptoms.

Yours truly,
