Post op pain

Hello Ladies. I had my lash on may 15th of the year. I've been feeling great (with the exceptions of the flashing and a lil moodiness)! My doctor saved my right ovary for the sake of keeping me from going into early menopause. We here lately I've been having more pain than usual on that right side. I'm feeling weak and exhausted more than I did before. Is there a such thing as a set back after a hysterectomy? It's a scary feeling.

Re: Post op pain

I think as we do more we get tired as we do more in recovery. In reality it takes a year to recover. I still get tired too. . Could the breast be from hormones? I used to get pain and fullness there when i was going to have my time of the month...That cycle is still sort of there with an ovary. I always call doc and leave a message with the nurse if i am worried then they call back and address my concerns. Maybe you could run it by them. Best wishes!

Re: Post op pain

I had achy breasts and did again during my pms- yes- Doc says my body will adjust... It will pass in a few dats and come and go... If it doesn't then I would call in... I would say its part of the course.

Re: Post op pain

The pain is a little odd, definitely something you should mention to your doctor. The rest sounds like it could be hormonal. It could be that your remaining ovary is having a difficult time getting re-adjusted to the change in its environment. Perhaps it would be a good idea to make an appointment to talk about all of it. You may want to have your thyroid tested too. That could cause the weakness and exhaustion. It could also be that you are just one of the women that takes a little longer to begin feeling well again. Hope you get it settled soon.
