Monday is the day

Hi everyone!
I'm going to the castle on Monday morning for my SAH. I have many fibroids, two of which are 7cm each. I know I will feel better eventually, I 'm just a little scared as the day gets closer.
Does anyone know of any last minute things I need to do or buy to get my room ready for when I come home? Any suggestions will be gladly appreciated. Thanks to this site I have already learned a lot more than I knew before. I hope to be talking to you soon.

Good luck to you on the 16th. I noticed from your post that you are from Arlington, Texas. That's where I am from too. I had my TAH/BSO done at Harris Methodist in Ft. Worth in May. Where are you having your procedure?

The web sites that Patches cited below are very good. I set up my bedroom with a comfortable lounge chair with a small table next to it with piles of magazines, telephone, etc. I also got a small bell ( no kidding!) to ring in case I needed something and my family was in another room. I also purchased lots of soup, popsicles, and juice from the grocery store as I didn't have much of an appetite afther the surgery.
